What I eat
I’m a cold water predator and swim with my mouth open wide to swallow any prey that comes within my reach.
Where I come from
I swim in the waters of Iceland, Norway and the North Sea.
What you can do
Cod may reach 25 years of age and 130 cm in length: because of its longevity, cod reproduces late in life and, as a species, is at high risk of overfishing. Look for the blue MSC label (Marine Stewardship Council).
